10 Steps to Selling Your Business
1. First Schedule a CONFIDENTIAL appointment to meet with a JY Accredited Business Intermediary.
2. Gather documents requested by your JY Business Broker agent for your meeting.
3. You will be given a questionnaire to fill out in order to help us develop a clearer picture of your business and what approach we will take to obtain buyer interest in YOUR business.
4. We will determine Market Valuation/Price for your business utilizing proven valuation methods including discretionary income and expenses.
5. You will sign a Listing Agreement authorizing JY Business Brokerage to represent you in the sale of your business.
6. Seller will pre-approve all Listing Marketing/Advertising and potential terms offered.
7. Our Brokers manages Buyer inquiries and Buyer pre-qualification process including buyer signing of NDA (Confidentiality Agreement)
8. Our Brokers arrange meeting between Buyer and Seller.
9. Your assigned Broker Agent assists in writing and/or presenting offers and subsequent contract negotiations.
10. Your assigned Broker Agent manages the timeline from offer acceptance to closing (transfer of ownership to the Buyer)
